Most people are hard-pressed for time and looking for ways to leverage what insufficient time they possess.  The second most prominent grounds for not begining an internet business, after not having any money, is not enough hours in the day.

This comes from a lack of understanding that there are other choices than to always be spending your OWN time to create leads for your online business.  If you happen to be someone who works a regular full time job, which is generally around 40-50 hours per week, it becomes incredibly difficult to gather the mental and physical strength to add on an extra 20-30 hours just to try and build a profitable home based business on a part time bases.  When are you supposed to sleep?  Eat?  Hang out with your family?  Relax???

Generating quality leads is the lifeblood of your online business, so you have to take it seriously.  So, here are a few ways you can do to free up some time in your lead generation efforts.

1. Get a website that has a capture page – the lone function of this style of website is to capture leads for you that have an interest in speaking to you about your business.  If done accurately, this website feature will arrange and categorize each lead for you, eliminating the need to manually organize or track where they come from.

2. Obtain an auto-responder service – If you mean on keeping in contact with your leads on a regular basis, this tool is invaluable.  It takes the guesswork out of trying to figure out when to send your communications.  All you have to do is write some emails to put in the autoresponder and choose how often the emails are sent. You never let pass an introduction, follow up, or follow through communication. Consider Aweber or GetResponse to do the job.

3. Hire a virtual assistant – this is a great way to sift through tire kickers and non-qualified prospects by having someone else do the “dirty work” for you.  Simply give a checklist of qualifying questions with minimum requirements to the assistant, and tell them to only deliver to you leads who are sincerely interested in doing business. 

4. Create content that can be leveraged – By submitting quality content to targeted online sites in multiple places (i.e. video hosting sites, directories, article submission services) you improve the visibility of your knowledge by placing it in front of a regular flow of new traffic without having to re-submit new content.  Videos and articles will remain online forever, so the work you do today will continue to work for you in the future.

If you want to try to build a business and only have around ten hours a week choose one or two marketing strategies and work them consistently.

This way you can spend time doing the things you really want to do rather than spending all of your time building a home business.  A lot of the top income earners in MLM/Network Marketing employ these strategies on a steady basis because it permits them to talk to a large number of people, all pre-qualified, and more often than not prime to transact without doing all the grunt work themselves.

Using the time you have and putting these strategies into practice is smart business planning.  So, find ways to allocate the drudgery of your business to systems and processes as often as possible.
